half blind
half blind is a series of photographs that combine unique in-camera paper negatives with film based platinum/palladium prints. each work is a meditation on extremes of light and space in the sonoran desert, a result of time spent traveling through and observing the desert in all seasons. the photographs capture invisible uv light and subtle tonal nuances of the land at dusk, paired to make singular works that favor abstraction over representation.
