black sea is a continuous body of work made over 15 years and marks an extension of my earliest night photographs made in the desert. documenting the experience of traveling in darkness to remote campsites, the images explore the desert landscape and embrace the precise visual language of the platinum / palladium process to render the richness of desert travel after dark.
